The “Global Scholasticism” Academic Network is dedicated to advancing the exchange of ideas and interpretations related to the global history of scholasticism across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. A collaborative initiative between the University of Messina (Italy), the University of Playa Ancha (Chile), and Sun Yat-sen University (China), the network is funded and led by Abel Aravena Zamora, Lu Jiang, and Nicola Polloni.
The network hosts a variety of events designed to foster philosophical dialogue, facilitate the exchange of scholarship, and promote new research on the history of scholastic philosophy, with a particular emphasis on its relevance for cross-cultural exchanges of knowledge. The network’s website provides regular updates on activities, calls for papers, and new publications by its members.
Open to all scholars working on the scholastic tradition and its global history, the network encourages participation from individuals regardless of academic status or geographical location.
